The camp is geared towards the swimmer who is fearful or anxious in the open water. We will safely practice techniques & strategies to overcome your anxiety or fears.

Coach Crystal Lewis will lead the group and address techniques and strategies used to overcome and control open water swim fears. You will then practice these techniques and apply them  in a safe environment. After discussion, you will go for an easy swim learning open water starts/exits/group swimming/navigating/sighting/drafting/and how to best swim in different water conditions.

This camp will have safety buoys, and may have paddle boarders or kayakers.

You can apply the techniques used in this camp to Ocean, Lake, River or Intracoastal swimming

Where: Lake Worth R.G. Kreusler Park. The very North end of Lake Worth Beach. Meet in front of the lifeguard tower. Metered Parking. 10 south ocean blvd, lake worth, 33460

When: June 25th, 7:30 am-10:30am

What to bring: you MUST bring a brightly colored swim cap. Water/snack if needed. The beach has water fountains/showers and restrooms.

* All participants must be able to easily swim 200 yds in a pool.*

This camp is limited to only 6 athletes and sells out quickly.  To guarantee a spot, you MUST purchase ahead of time.
